Streaming media technology enables you to include real time audio, video, and other multimedia into your web sites. Visitors to your site will be able to listen to or view media files as they are downloaded in Real Time. The source material can be either pre-recorded material or live video presentations (from historical reenactments to lab demonstrations), providing a gold mine of teaching aids. For an introduction to streaming media, we recommend the online streaming media tutorial provided by DoIT.
